Dr. Sanjive Narain is a pioneer of the Television Industry in Assam and Northeast with 28 years of experience in the Television and Broadcast Media. A renowned name in the Broadcasting and Entertainment Industry he has launched nearly 200 channels in the Northeast. He is also the Founder and Promoter of M/s A.M. Television Private Limited. Dr. Narain owns the first News channel of North East namely Prag News since 2000. His enduring efforts and futuristic outlook has made Prag News the undisputed leader amongst all the satellites channels in North East. Dr. Narain is also the president of Assam Chamber of Commerce.

Honors and Awards

He is a celebrated producer/director and has produced 33 movies till March 2020. His film “Dwaar” got three Filmfare Awards. Amongst many accolades and awards he was recently presented with an honorary Doctorate by the Global Human Peace University for his active participation in an international seminar on the topic: “ Establishing Global Peace”. Apart from being a successful entrepreneur Dr. Narain is also a sports enthusiast and owns the Prag Rhino cricket club, N.E. Rhinos big bout boxing league and he is also the co-owner and director of Guwahati football club sports Pvt. Ltd.
