Dr. (Prof.) Pradip Kumar Baruah
With a vast experience in the field of teaching; identifying, diagnosing and treating various health issues and ailments regarding orthopaedics, his name itself is enough to draw all eyes towards him. Originally from Lakhimpur, Dr. (Prof.) Pradip Kumar Baruah completed his MBBS from Gauhati Medical College in 1985 and then completed MS in Orthopedics in 1990 from the same college.
Dr. (Prof.) Pradip Kumar Baruah has a teaching experience of 30 years. With dedicating so much to teaching and education and prevention of various common orthopaedic and trauma problems amongst masses, Dr. Baruah has become a household name for people, not only in the state, but in the whole region.
Dr. Baruah has done AO fellowship in Trauma & Joint replacement surgery in Albertludwig Universitat, Freiburg, Germany. He has done another fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons, England; and another one from American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
His areas of interest include joint replacements, trauma, sports injuries, spine and tumours. He’s currently one of the esteemed Directors of Nemcare Superspeciality Hospital and Nemcare Advanced Joint Replacement Centre.
