Dr. Hitesh Baruah

Having a decade long experience in teaching, Dr. Baruah is an avid social worker too. He is the President of the NGO Lifeline and every now and then keeps helping people in need. Along with being a doctor and a social worker, Dr. Baruah has keen interest in music and cultural activities. He has director soulful music for renowned assamese films like “Maa tumi Ananya”, “Anta Hin Jayatra”, “Suren Suror Putek”, “Junda Iman Gunda” and for the Bengali version of “Suren Suror Putek”. He has lended his voice for various renowned songs in the assamese movie industry. All these have won him accolades and awards like Best Music Director from NE TV for the year 2004-2005, Best music director from Jutirupa Film fare awards for the movie “Junda Imaan Gunda” and Best Music Director for “Bakor Putek”. • Sang two Assamese modern song albums, composed and tuned by self. Dr. Baruah had sang in many Assamese modern audio albums. He Performed as Play back singer in Assamese film “Anta Hin Jayatra”. Written various shot stories, poems, write-ups, published in different magazines, newspapers. Was Music director for telefilms “Amar Ronga Gulab”, transmitted in N.E. Doordarshan, Guwahati. Performed as actor in various teleflims, plays, teleserials and flims.

He received Best Music Director award from N.E TV for the year of 2004-2005.
