New England Medical Care Institute operates separate pain clinics under the name New England Pain Associates. Under medical director Ahmed Ebeid, MD, the pain clinics provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for pain patients on a referral or self-referral basis. Rather than focusing on isolated pain problems, our pain specialists focus on the individual as a whole, helping patients improve their quality of life.

Types of pain treatment
New England Pain Associates provides comprehensive, individualized treatments utilizing medications, pain injections, and physical and rehabilitative services — usually on an outpatient basis. Since chronic pain conditions are often accompanied by depression, psychological services are available as required.

For patients with severe, intratable pain, we offer state-of-the-art implantable pumps and spinal cord stimulators.

We offer the latest technologies available for the treatment of back pain including:

• intradiscal procedures
• nucleoplasty
• vertebroplasty.
